Red Bull Linecatcher 2010 – Vars, France

Posted on January 14th, 2010 in events, general by Spencer

The Red Bull Linecatcher event in Vars, France was quite amazing this year. The new competition format catered to the style of free skiing’s top athletes. For the past couple of years it seems more and more pros are leaving the terrain park for natural hits in the back country. The course in Vars had a big mountain feel with select takeoffs throughout giving everyone the freedom to choose a line and hit huge transfers. Frenchman Candide Thovex took 1st by sticking his final run, K2 Ski’s Sean Pettit placed 2nd but maybe should have been a little higher with his mind blowing run, and CR Johnson rounded out the podium with the bronze. TannerHall.com Now Live

Posted on September 25th, 2009 in general, skiers by Spencer

TannerHall.com is now live. I think everyone was wondering when Tanner’s rasta themed blog was going to produce solid content. Well it looks like it is here and with video too. The design is clean and because of the unfortunate crash filming for TGR last year, Tanner should have some time to keep us up to date on what he is up to.

Tanner Hall’s Road to Recovery Video

Posted on September 20th, 2009 in general, skiers by Spencer

Tanner Hall is reaching out and grabbing the good vibrations coming from fans across the web. We are stoked that the condition of his knee is improving and that he is gaining so much momentum in his physical therapy. It sucks that he will not be skiing this season, but as always he will come back stronger than ever. We at SkiersRealm hope for a speedy recovery. Maybe with all of this time he will actually start working on TannerHall.com. Jah Tanner. READ MORE

(John Symms EXPN) In other Tanner Hall news, Dakine has just picked up Tanner and his little partner in Massive crime, Sean Pettit. Or is it that they’ve picked up Dakine? I don’t know. But stay on the lookout for T-Hall-Dakine collab product someday soon. In a related story, the economy hangs on the horns of a dye-lemma as the pigment industry braces itself for a projected shortage of red, yellow, and green textile dyes.

TannerHall.com Website In Slow Motion

Posted on October 14th, 2008 in general by Spencer

TannerHall.com is moving so slow I think the website might be stoned. I heard stories about old hippies that would take a hit and blow smoke into the engine of their VW bus to get it to start. Tanner Hall may have blew a little too much smoke into his server. I guess he could be building a little hype but soon people will stop checking to see if this thing is live. For now enjoy the reggae music playing in the background and don’t do anything that Tanner wouldn’t. Put that J down and go for a run, ski season will be here sooner than you think.

The Massive Premiere Goes Off…Massive!

Posted on September 15th, 2008 in general by Spencer

There’s no doubt Boulder, CO is a town that is at the core of ski culture in the US, so what better place to drop one of the sickest ski movies of all time? As expected, Tanner’s fans came out in droves to take in the first showing ever of his new film. Red Bull and Vodka flowed all night long and copious amounts of swag were dispensed by Tanner and the Red Bull crew. Everyone left the venue with stickers, posters, T-shirts, bandanas, and the latest issue of Powder Magazine. Before everyone had even left the venue, The Massive was drawing high praise from ski fans on internet forums. Via Redbullskiing.com.
