Line Skis Traveling Circus Video - Episode 1

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

What in the World is The Traveling Circus? Who the heck is Andy Parry & Will Wesson (click here if you don’t)

The Traveling Circus documents the crazy lifestyle that is skiing. From desperate struggles to save money, to ridiculous off hill adventures, to epic days on the mountain, episodes will bridge the gap between reality television and action packed ski intensity.

MOUNT HOOD: A low budget vacation

Will: At the start of summer I considered going to Mt. Hood, camping, and skiing for the summer, but instead chose to work and save money. In early July, I started to regret that decision. Summer Camp updates and edits started to get to me, and that itch to ski returned in full force. All hope seemed lost. Luckily, the good folks over at Windell’s Camp and LINE Skis came to the rescue. They graciously allowed our smelly crew of skiers to hangout for the last two sessions of summer camp.

$50 dollar lift tickets for a few hours of lift time weren’t appealing, so we chose to do it the old fashioned way and hoof it on the daily. The morning hike lasted about an hour each day and provided a good warm up for skiing. Carrying full ski gear, camera gear (Shane), food and water can get heavy, but it was always worth it once we made it up to the park.

Andy: Skiing has taken me some cool places but usually just around the East Coast. This summer I finally got out of New York’s humidity, took a break from shoveling horse poop, and went skiing.

Shane (filmer): Summarizing our trip to Mount Hood and not including the “you had to be there ” stories would be pretty hard. This would include; how I fell into a river, Andy’s love triangles, gypsies, spiders, model boat racing, hard shell tacos, garage sales, playing skate, the one night we slept in “Mantana,” and everything else that happened whenever we weren’t hiking, skiing, or asleep.

Huge thanks to LINE, Josh Malczyk, Jeremiah Paquette, Windells Austin Stevens, Sean Harkins, Tim Windell, Metal Jeff, the long list of people who gave us rides, Geoff McDonald, Windell’s Diggers, MHSSC, anyone else who helped us make it to Hood.

LINE Eric Pollard 08 Self Edit from Line Skis

Eric Pollard has been on the leading edge of skiing for the good part of the last decade. Creating artwork, skis and now he’s taking on the digital world. Check out Eric’s self edit of his 07-08 season with his Nimbus Independent crew.

Look what Line Skis has given us. The edits from this little video are all from Hunting Yeti. If you missed the movie premiere in your local area, Eric Pollard pretty much had the best part so here you go. I do ask you to watch this video, take a look at Eric’s Line Anthem Skis then check out Line Ski’s Website and compare. Doesn’t it look like the skis in the video have a lot rocker to them. Maybe these are the 2010 Line Anthem Skis, or Eric is skiing a one off to give him everything he needs for both the resort and in the back country. Leave your thoughts in the form of a comment.

Line Limited Anthem Skis by Eric Pollard

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Eric Pollard is respected world-wide not only for his forward thinking and creative skiing style, but also for his artwork. So when we needed unique graphics for a limited edition release of one of our most popular freestyle skis, it was obvious we needed to give the project to Pollard.

Description:

Eric has created 2 new graphic versions of the original 2009 Line Anthem Ski. The construction is the same, but the graphics are as one-of-a-kind as Pollard’s skiing. If you’re looking for skis that will set you apart from the rest, then this is the model you’ve been waiting for. With less than 150 pair, per size, per model world wide, these limited quantites won’t last long.

Update:
Dear Skiers,
This website is temporary. These days everyone thinks the internet is really awesome and stuff, but it’s also super crowded and has a lot of annoying, dumb stuff (i.e. dancing mortgage ads, non-Line websites, etc). The reality is, our new site is going to be so popular and perfect the current world wide web is going to totally cramp our new site’s style. For this reason we’ve decided to delay its launch until October 1st. This will give us enough time to create a new and improved World Wide Web that will be good enough to put our MODERN website on. We appreciate your patience and in the meantime check out our lame temporary site on this outdated internet that you soon won’t be going to anymore.
Sincerely,
Ape Man
