Henrik Harlaut takes the win at the Freestyle Berlin this weekend and is also the newest member of the Empire Attire Team. Putting in the time on Mt. Hood this summer season must have done Henrik well. Another guy that spends a lot of time at Mt. Hood, Sammy Carlson, won the Freestyle Zurich a couple weeks ago but came in second this weekend. TJ Schiller rounded the top three and Jacob Wester took fourth.

Redbull and Head Skis brought their newest hyphy athlete to Zurich last weekend. Jon Olsson sported himself a tall t. Maybe it was too warm for the Swede to sport a normal sized shirt, but we think he is trying to fit in with the youngsters. Sammy Carlson showed up in Zurich this weekend and dominated the competition. With the sponsor support of Nike 6.0 Freeski, Rockstar and Salomon Skis, Sammy goes huge banging out a double corked 1080 with a mute grab, and a little poke in the middle. Judges were stoked on Sammy’s style. We are stoked on the new 2010 Salomon Suspect Ski. They look awesome this year with a matte black top sheet. The FreeSki Big Air is the freeskier’s place to shine at the FreeStyle.ch in Zurich. Nike 6.0 FreeSkiers representing in a big way. Jossi Wells and TJ Schiller arrived yesterday and are getting ready as we speak for their first runs. Qualifications on Friday and Saturday, 20 riders will fight for one of the eight starting places for the finals on Sunday. SkiersRealm will report more news as it becomes available. Swedish skier Jacob Wester won the Freestyle.ch this weekend in Zurich, Switzerland. This being the first big event of the year and also held in Europe means we wont have pictures or video until next week. Stay tuned as they should be well worth the wait. Looks like all of the heavy hitters were on hand to give the crowd a show.
