Holy Nike 6.0’s, CoreUpt’s TJ Schiller is Back

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

Hello Mr. Schiller. Welcome back to a Skier’s Realm. There is no better feeling than clicking back into a pair of bindings after dealing with the struggle of recovering from an injury. According to a source close to TJ, he still has worries about the life of his career and how well his knee will hold up this year. With the amount of work TJ Schiller has put into the rehab process, there is no doubt in my mind he will be strong enough to make a huge impact in the skiing community this season.

In late November TJ knocked the dust off of his boots with Jon Olsson at the water jumps in a brisk Stockholm. He was in Sweden to judge fellow CoreUpt Skiers Gus, Ritchi, and Colby West in the Stockholm King Of Style. Seems like he is getting his muscle memory back in a hurry. Check out the video from Jon Olsson’s Video Blog below. TJ Schiller will be testing himself at the first ever Winter Dew Tour Stop in Breckenridge Colarado. We want to wish TJ a awesome and healthy season. Keep it real for the CoreUpt and Nike 6.0 Ski Teams.

CoreUPT Skis Feels The Love In France

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Resorts all over the US are starting to open but they do not have snow like this. Looks like CoreUPT Skis has the location on lock. Must be nice to get the deep stuff this early in the season. Hopefully we will get some more shots like these throughout the season.

As we said last time on your explaining videos, CoreUPT is a brand created by riders, for riders. And Today, it was snowing everywhere in Tignes. So, when the snow is falling just behind our windows, it created some problems in our office…

Everything begin yesterday with the arrival of this snowstorm when it was time to sleep. But sleeping when it’s snowing is just impossible. You’re thinking too much, you’re dreaming all night…
But, sometimes when you wake up, your dreams may come true. 8inch of powder snow, sunny day, so we can only go skiing… Everybody just jump in his skishoes, throw our skis in the Clubman !

So please apologize us, because today CoreUPT was closed… Here are our excuses :

But I swear tomorrow we will be open… Well…Candide just arrived at the office so… I’m not that sure.

CoreUPT Skis Looking For Official Dealers

Friday, October 24th, 2008

By Coreupt, Friday 24 October 2008 at 15:33

We are currently searching for our 60 official dealers all over the world. If you think your shop might apply, just send us as much information and details about your shop on hugo’s mail at this address : hugo (zat) coreupt . com

Thanks for all,
CoreUPT.com

Who wouldn’t want to support CoreUPT Skis? I would imagine they will try to keep the distribution small but the product looks sick and companies like Backcountry would throw down to sell these skis. I hope they get their dealer network setup quickly. Skiers Realm would like to wish CoreUPT Skis well.

TJ Schiller Joins Coreupt Skis

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

TJ Schiller:
By pure coincidence I was contacted by CoreUPT when my Armada contract was expiring. As I knew of them a bit I was comfortable chatting with them. Having Candide & Richard on board really was a big push for me. I admire these 2 guys so much, for they have such a love for skiing and are absolutely NUTS on-hill and in Competition. Using Skype was really helpful, as it helped me to get even more at ease, especially not having met Guerlain and Matthieu (The masterminds behind CoreUPT) and hearing what they had to say about the planning, background, backing and their business plan for the Skiers market. I got the feeling that it was really being designed as much as possible as a “skier’s company”, that is, not any fly-by-night outfit just trying to break into the market, but a group of people who looked at everything with the skier’s point of view first and foremost in mind.

When hearing what they had to say, i became really, super stoked to be one of the skiers they wanted to be with them from the ground up! They made it very clear that they see skiing as fun and wanted to convey that sense of fun to everyone. Worldwide. All-in-all, I see it as an awesome opportunity to be on the ground floor with a company that is completely driven by the VISION AND VALUES of the Skiers as their No. 1 priority.

Already being on-board for 3 weeks I have been able to create a design for my first ever TJ - Pro model ski. I cannot be happier with how it turned out. I have already started jotting down ideas for shapes / flex/ sidecut /length & Design for my next year’s ski. I am going to NZ right now to get some shots for my first time back on snow. I am going to take it mellow on mountain, but still very serious at the gym each day for constant re-hab for my knee. Stoked to be back and healthy!

Your skis : program, design, how it works :

I worked with a designer from Seattle: JARED K. NICKERSON - He has got a great style. This design is a fun and exciting that is filled with energy. I chose the words “EVERY THING MUST CHANGE” Because, I feel after leaving Armada and coming back from the injury that I have a chance to re-create myself and really reach my lifetime goals.
