Salomon is no stranger to SIA, check out the 2012 ski gear they brought along with them to Denver this year.

New for 2012, Salomon’s Quest 14 brings a stiffer 130 flex to the Quest family. And does it in style might I add.

The new 2012 Salomon STH 16 Binding design has not been changed. If it ain’t broke why fix it? The DIN range is a comfortable 9 – 16. For 2012 Salomon comes to the table with two different versions of the STH 16 bindings. The three year old lightweight version will still be available but the bullet proof completely steel STH binding is back. Check back for more information as it becomes available.

The biggest story of the weekend was that Salomon Skis walked away with a grip of hardware. Congrats are in order for Mr. Simon Dumont who destroyed the ski pipe competition at the first stop. Good thing for that second run. Hopefully this momentum will push him all the way to his Winter X Games appearance later next month. Hey kids, get on the Salomon train that swept the slopestyle podium. Congrats go out to Alexis Godbout for the win, Bobby Brown for his impressive second place finish and Sammy Carlson for rounding out the top three. Not to be left out we were stoked to see the ladies step it up as well. Their conditions were not so rad this weekend. Ashley Battersby pulled through and took the win followed by Keri Herman and Jessica Warll.
