Nike 6.0 StinkWeen Braata Shoes Sneak Peak

Posted on July 10th, 2009 in General by Spencer

Nike 6.0 Stinkween Braata Shoes
:

Welcome to a world of vibrant color and madcap illustration, where shoe soles double as art canvases and seemingly subtle details glow electric-green in the dark. Nike 6.0 joined forces with prolific street artist Mark Paul Deren (a.k.a. Madsteez) to create something fresh and visually groundbreaking. The result? The Nike 6.0 Stinkween Braata Shoes
. The Nike Braata translates this wonderfully weird vision with easy-wearing innovation. Built with Nike Free technology, the Braata’s uber-flex allows the foot to follow its natural movements and provides unprecedented board-feel that’s tempered with support in all the right places. The Braata’s cold-wrap construction process reduces environmental impact and also allows the insert of a cushioned midsole, differentiating it from traditional vulcanized shoes. Read More

Nike 6.0 Ski Takes Winter X Games

Posted on January 30th, 2009 in General by Spencer

The 6.0 team started it’s X Games week off right with Simon taking Bronze in the Superpipe. He had come into the contest, naturally, expecting Gold, as many others expected as well. And each of his three runs looked golden until its very last hit, or lack thereof. Just like last year, Simon was by many accounts the best skier in the contest, just without enough half pipe to show everything he could do. Although he had it dialed in practice, Simon went a little bigger in the contest and ended up running out of pipe before he could get his last-hit alley-oop nine. Oh well, third is pretty sick, right? READ MORE…

Holy Nike 6.0′s, CoreUpt’s TJ Schiller is Back

Posted on November 30th, 2008 in General by Spencer

Hello Mr. Schiller. Welcome back to a Skier’s Realm. There is no better feeling than clicking back into a pair of bindings after dealing with the struggle of recovering from an injury. According to a source close to TJ, he still has worries about the life of his career and how well his knee will hold up this year. With the amount of work TJ Schiller has put into the rehab process, there is no doubt in my mind he will be strong enough to make a huge impact in the skiing community this season.

Freeskier Celebrates Simon’s World Record

Posted on October 6th, 2008 in General by Spencer

As if a cover wasn’t enough, Freeskier Mag threw a party for Simon Dumont celebrating his insane feat of breaking the world record for height off a quarterpipe.

After all, it’s not everyday you meet someone with a legit world record. Simon boosted 35.5 feet above the lip of the quarterpipe, throwing in a 900 with a tail grab. Are you kidding me? The record was previously held by snowboard legend, Terje who claimed 32 feet and a backside 360 method in 2007.  Prior that, the record was held by Heikki Sorsa. Congrats on a World Record Simon and thanks to Freeskier for the support!

Nike 6.0 Nimbus Dunk High Customs

(John Symms) Tall tees. Bandanas. Chains. Baggy clothes. Fresh New Era caps. The fashion of freestyle skiing has for years comprehensively emulated hip hop culture (and couture, *giggle giggle*) — but for one notable exception. When the time comes to come correct, Jon Olsson can be there with his best foreign car. But what about a fresh pair of Nike 6.0 steps? Hmmm…
