It’s hump day. You’re almost there. Well not really you still have two more days of this week to go, but hopefully a couple cool vids will help you zone out for a bit.

The 2012 Tanner Hall POC helmet is black with rasta highlights, the Jon Olsson helmet has a low profile design and the TJ Schiller helmet is clean. That is why we don’t blame POC when they told us that they didn’t change them from last year. Over all we are stoked.

EXPN is reporting the sad news that Nike 6.0 team skier, TJ Schiller, has injured his knee while training for the Winter Dew Tour this week. Doctors have confirmed that TJ has a third degree tear of his ACL and ruptured medial meniscus. We hope that TJ will recover quickly from his injury and will be healthy enough for on mountain rehab this spring. Thoughts and prayers bud.

The 2010 Freestyle.ch has come and gone and the 2010/2011 season is right around the bend. I was just starting to enjoy my summer here in Oregon, but I guess it is time to get my skis mounted and waxed (We have to wax in Oregon because the snow has little baby arms that grab you). The Freestyle.ch gives me the chance to speculate who made it up to Hood and Blackcomb in the off season. You can tell by an athlete’s demeanor and style.

The toughest competitor on the ramp this year was moister, dripping off the limited edition goggles warn by skiing’s elite athletes. After checking out the videos from the event I could not determine a clear winner. I will tell you one thing… I can’t watch anymore double corks. I am sorry but Sammy Carlson made it boring when he landed a triple at Mt Hood during the filming of the new TGR film. The FreeStyle.ch was everything we expected from the action sports festival. Henrik Harlaut, Elias Ambühl, Andreas Håtveit, and PK Hunder held it down. I truly didn’t expect a Euro sweep of the podium but the Americans did hold it down for the other half of the top ten. The 2010 Jon Olsson Super Sessions have began in Are’ Sweden. It is already day three and things are looking up, way up. As always the jumps are big and so is the supporting cast. We have seen TJ, Andreas and some of the other 6.0 athletes wearing what looked to be technical outerwear with the logo we are oh so familiar with. Well here it is. The Nike 6.0 Outerwear line dropped and it is DOPE. I am so stoked on the designs presented this year at SIA. The only question I have now is… “Nike 6.0 is proud to announce TJ Schiller, Jossi Wells and Andreas Hatveit on Nike 6.0 outerwear.” (Nike6.com) Props to all the boys and girls in Beaverton.

Put your skis away because TJ Schiller just closed down the sport of free skiing for the next couple of years. Last night at Winter X Games 10 Ski Big Air, TJ landed a double corked 1620. Yes that is correct, 1620. He just ruined the sport by progressing it way too fast. Because of an awesome couple of jumps by Bobby Brown, TJ had to settle for the silver but I am not sure he is that bent about it. WOW!

Henrik Harlaut takes the win at the Freestyle Berlin this weekend and is also the newest member of the Empire Attire Team. Putting in the time on Mt. Hood this summer season must have done Henrik well. Another guy that spends a lot of time at Mt. Hood, Sammy Carlson, won the Freestyle Zurich a couple weeks ago but came in second this weekend. TJ Schiller rounded the top three and Jacob Wester took fourth.
