Mission
SkiersRealm is a freeski blog started as a way to keep up with the rapid movements of both the athletes and manufacturers that make the ski industry fun. This site is your source for all that is freeskiing. What makes us different from a member driven forum like newschoolers or a mag website like Freeskier? SkiersRealm contributors take the best industry news and commentate from an ordinary skier’s point of view. Keep up to date on FreeSkiing news with us by subscribing to our RSS feed.

I was born & raised in Bend Oregon (God’s Country). Growing up in Central Oregon instilled in me a love for the outdoors especially during the winter time. I started skiing young at Mt. Bachelor and never felt like I could get enough. Fast forward to today. I am now living in the Willamette Valley and have the best ski report available. I look toward Mt. Hood from my front living room window and if I can see it I grab my K2 Kung Fujas, but if I cant see it chances are it’s a day for the K2 Hellbents. I share my love for the outdoors with my wife Lindsay who is my favorite person to ski with.

Also born and raised in Bend Oregon and currently still calling it home. I’ve been skiing since the 4th grade and absolutely am in love with Winter. But if there isn’t snow on the ground you can find me on some sort of bicycle or with a fly rod in hand out on the river. Desk jockey by day but that’s ok since the desk is located at the Mountain.

I guess I’m the odd man out, as I was born in California and grew up skiing Little Cottonwood Canyon before my family moved to Bend. My wife and I just moved back to Central Oregon after living in Portland for the last few years, and I have to say, it feels wonderful to be back in a mountain town.

I love skiing because no matter where you are in your life, once you’ve tasted the joys of untracked powder on a perfect day, that image is seared in your mind and you can always escape the realities of day-to-day life by remember what it felt like. Some winters I ski 80 days, some I struggle to get up 20 times, but it’s in my blood, and something that will be a part of my life until all I can do is tell stories about the great ski days I had.
