Skiingthebackcountry.com recently announced the combining of their “track your vert” feature on the website with raising money for charities. Always awesome to put others’ needs before your own, and if you can do it by getting on your skis… well I just don’t see a possibility of a negative here. They will also be having several fundraising events in ski towns around the US, so if they end up in your neck of the woods I’d highly suggest a stop by. So far it sounds like there will be events in Bend, Jackson, Bozeman, Tahoe, Taos, Durango, Aspen, Boulder, Denver and Lake Placid. But if you’re interested in helping to plan a fundraiser (and why wouldn’t you be!) for an organization that you want to support, please email contact@skiingthebackcountry.com. They’ll get you all set up with what you need to get the cash flowin’!
