Since joining the the SCOTT team in October of 2009, Tom has skied his way to multiple Dew Tour wins, won gold at European X Games in slopestyle and has established himself as one of the worlds most progressive freeskiers. True to his roots, Tom Wallisch and SCOTT haven’t forgotten where Wallisch got his start. Tom became an overnight sensation due to an edit he dropped for a Level 1 Productions Superunknown Contest. In 2010.11 SCOTT Sports teamed up with 4bi9 Media to bring you Wednesdays with Wallisch, a weekly edit dropping every Wednesday throughout the season. The edits are based off a day in the life of Tom as he travels the globe stomping new tricks and talks about what being the Pretzel Man is all about. Check it out and who knows maybe you’ll learn something! Otherwise, sit back, put that work off till a few minutes later and check out WallischWednesdays airing every wednesday November through April!

If the first episode is an indication of those to come, looks like we’ll be seeing some product promotions as well as some quick ski edits. Marketing is marketing I suppose. I actually do like to be able to watch a vid on a product I’m thinking about purchasing.

In this weeks episode, Tom presents you with the brand new Tom Wallisch Pro Model Fix Goggle. It should be hitting stores sometime this month in limited quantities. The goggles will feature SCOTT’s NL-32 lens and retail for $110. The Wallisch pro model is just like SCOTT’s Fix Plus Goggle, if you want to check the specs on it. Wallisch worked with SCOTT designers who used his Pittsburgh background to create a goggle that incorporates PIttsburgh Steelers inspired print, penguins and Wallisch’s own pretzel insignia.  ”I was pumped to have so much involvement in designing my own goggle. The Fix is definitely the best goggle I’ve ever worn and the graphics SCOTT came up with are just what I wanted.  I’m stoked!” remarked Wallisch.
