(John Symms) Tall tees. Bandanas. Chains. Baggy clothes. Fresh New Era caps. The fashion of freestyle skiing has for years comprehensively emulated hip hop culture (and couture, *giggle giggle*) — but for one notable exception. When the time comes to come correct, Jon Olsson can be there with his best foreign car. But what about a fresh pair of Nike 6.0 steps? Hmmm…
Problem solved. Nike has gotten into the scene, which you already knew, since TJ, Jossi, Sammy, and The Dumont ride for 6.0. But did you know that it’s not just for skiing’s young and impressionable anymore? Nike 6.0′s ski mentor (team manager), Riley Poor, has even got some above-the-scene guys going above the rim in fresh custom Dunks, saying that “Eric Pollard is a legend in the sport and these Special Edition Nimbus Dunks were a token of appreciation from 6.0 to the Nimbus crew for their important contribution to our sport.”
Eric Pollard gives his best “Oh no you didn’t!” finger. Nimbus stays fly in they fresh Nikes.
Thanks to “tokens of appreciation” like that (and the Special Edition T Hall’s Massive Dunks that have been spotted providing the Tan Man with some much needed ankle support), we can finally express solidarity with our favorite ski filmmakers and our favorite ghetto hustlas simultaneously by staying fly in some custom Nike boots:

Dude this new line looks pretty siick.I really like the shoes they look awesome.
