		<description>Hey Josh-

The Apache series is a good all-around ski for someone that wants a single ski quiver. They’ll perform well on groomers, but are decent in new snow and crud.

The primary characteristic that is used to compare ski is the width in the center, commonly called width “under-foot”. This measurement will tell you a lot about the ski, including it’s overall surface area (wider usually means more surface area, which will help it perform better in new snow). In the past “all-mountain” skis have typically been around 80mm wide under-foot, but now-a-days, with advancements in ski design and construction a good all-mountain ski will be larger than 90mm under-foot. That will give you some extra float on powder days, without compromising the performance on hardpack.

Your skis are a great place to start, but if you decide to buy another pair to supplement them in the future, I would recommend something closer to 100mm under foot. That would give you two skis to choose from depending on the conditions.

Have fun out there!</description>
