It might not be skiing related, but the Dirksen Derby is def. news worthy. Every year Josh Dirksen and crew set up a course and hold a race/fund raiser to help raise some cash for their buddy Tyler Ekland who was paralyzed in a snowboarding accident. The race is always a blast and everyone has a great time. Check out the edit from this years race, then make plans to come race in it next year. Price is $25, and all proceeds go to Tyler & his family. Even if you don’t place top 3, they always give out a butt load of swag so chances are you’ll walk away with some sort of goodies.
