Saw these pop up on one of Newschoolers featured blogs the other day. You’re looking at Salomon’s SPK boot for 2012. While I haven’t had a chance to check them out in person, according to Steffen Hamre’s blog the 2012 Salomon SPK differs from the previous model in that they no longer have the skin on the outside. There is also hard rubber on the toe to protect against bashing it into rails and other hard objects that boots don’t tend to get along with. The black looks clean, good looking boot.
