Dalbello's founders, Alessandro and Giovanna Dal Bello, perfected their trade throughout the 60's in Switzerland at the Henke Ski Boot factory. However, never feeling like they had the freedom to really express their abilities and creativity, Dalbello Ski Boots was born and in 1974 the first Dalbello ski boots rolled off the assembly line. This year, 2011, Dalbello will be celebrating production of their 10,000,000th ski boot. Accomplishments like that don't just happen by accident. Dalbello has worked hard over the past 37 years in order to get to that 10 millionth pair of ski boots by constantly investing in the R&D of the company. Which is what you'd come to expect from a ski company whose sole purpose for existence is to produce technically excellent products that satisfy the performance and comfort needs of the end user. Dalbello's drive to constantly be atop the ski boot industry recently lead them to develop their Rider Development Project or RDP. Coming straight from the brain of legendary skier Glen Plake, The Dalbello RDP brings both Dalbello professional skiers and R&D engineers together with the common goal of creating the best performing boots in the world. Which is exactly what you get every time you put a pair of Dalbello ski boots on your feet.
