SkiersRealm Official Review: ON3P Billy Goat Skis
The ON3P Billy Goat Ski easily could fit the bill as your one ski quiver. Similar to a Rossignol S7 or the Armada JJ in shape, the ON3P Billy Goat's shape puts it right in the mix with the other top skis that are known for being the new "all-mountain pow ski". Meaning these skis will thrive in the pow but also have the ability to ski the entire mountain everyday of the year. The ON3P Billy Goat definitely fits this profile. Right away I noticed that the Billy Goat had a light swing weight to it and was quick to maneuver, which I love in a ski. I took this ski through everything from 4-6" pow, to bumps, to the park and I felt comfortable in all of it. They were able to float over the crud and bumpy snow easily and kept me feeling in control the whole tim.
On top of the ON3P Billy Goat's ability to perform in all types of terrain I was super impressed by how much pop the ski had. They were super playful and loved to jump off anything you wanted. Small jibs to park hits, it was easy to get them in them in the air and awesome to feel the "snap" of the skis off every lip. Also, when it came to jumps, they felt super solid on take offs. They gave me a lot of confidence going into the hits, especially natural stuff that doesn't always have the best run-ins and take offs. You just knew you weren't going to get thrown off balance.
Really I have nothing bad to say about the ON3P Billy Goat skis. I would ski these things year round, day after day without hesitation. But to be fair, that doesn't mean they're a 100% performer all over the mountain. While it didn't bother me because I don't ski groomers unless everything else is garbage, if the Billy Goats do have a downfall this is where it's at. They can carve, but they aren't made for railing out quick and agile groomer cuts. They will perform on the groomed runs just fine, but don't expect them to be winning any slalom races. They'll get the job done on the runs, but these skis were made to dominate off-piste.
I would definitely recommend the ON3P Billy Goat skis to somebody who loves to ski off the runs. The skier who lives to ski pow and would rather spend their time cruising off the runs and uses the groomers as a last resort.
ON3P Skis Billy Goat - Overall Impression:
Awesome ski, definitely could see this ski being my daily driver.
Pros:
Fast swing weight, easy to maneuver, poppy and playful, solid on take offs.
Cons:
Not the most amazing on the groomers, but get the job done.

This is my first year living in the PNW so I had never hear of ON3P before moving here but I decided to give them a try. They float effortlessly in deep pow, crush it in the crud, and can still edge and provide stability while screaming groomers. I've ridden the JJ before and they handle very similar in deep pow but the ON3P Billy Goat handles much better in all other conditions. Well done ON3P, I love these sticks!Overall Rating - The ON3P Billy Goat is def a fun everyday ski! Reviewed by ON3P for me on 12/22/11

First year on the ON3P Billy Goat, actually first year on ON3P skis period. I knew I wanted a new pair of skis that fit the all-mountian-pow niche but I got tired of hearing so much about the Rossi S7's and JJ's. I heard about ON3P from a buddy and since I used to live up in Ptown I looked into them. The Billy Goat skis seemed to fit the same bill as the S7's and JJ's and had good reviews so I went for it. Couldn't be more pumped on them. Zero regrets. So far I haven't skied them in anything deep, just some 2-4" stuff but they were awesome in that and they rock on the groomed and crud runs too. So Ive got no doubt they're going to be amazing in the deep pow! Recommend them to anyone looking to rock one pair of skis most if not all the time and want something that will perform like mad off piste! Definitely check out ON3P and support the little guys!!!Overall Rating
